Description

This high quality waterproof 10A 12V solar charge controller is designed to protect batteries whilst charging them, with a full range of automatic protection features. The controller uses high efficiency MPPT charging technology to get the most possible power out of your solar panels.

This controller stops reverse current (from the battery back to the solar panel) so your battery won’t lose any charge at night and can be left permanently connected. It has many other protection functions such as over charge / discharge shut-off, over load and short circuit protection for the load terminals, overheating protection for the battery and more.

This controller can work with 12V Lithium batteries only. With a wide range of solar input voltages (up to 45V) this controller can work not only with standard off-grid solar modules, but also with on-grid panels which have higher voltage. The controller can accept up to 130W of solar panels which makes it a perfect choice for small or medium solar PV systems with a battery and load such as in a camper van or boat.

In addition, the solar charge controller is completely sealed with a very high degree of water protection. It is absolutely safe to use this solar controller in all weather conditions.

With the remote IR programmer (purchased separately), this controller can be wirelessly monitored and adjusted. The controller has a fully programmable timer with dimmer functionality, which monitors the dusk and dawn times based on the solar panel voltage and can adjust the percentage power of the load in 5 independently-timed stages, making this controller ideal for outdoor lighting systems.
