This unit ensures optimal charging for leisure batteries, even in vehicles equipped with Euro-6 engines and smart alternators, which have variable voltage output.

The DM1260 DC-DC charger optimizes battery charging using the TBB Premium II algorithm. Temperature compensation for optimal charging

Battery temperature significantly impacts charging performance. The included Battery Temperature Sensor (BTS) measures real-time temperature and adjusts the charging voltage accordingly. The default compensation rate is –3mV/°C/cell, ensuring batteries are charged under optimal conditions. If the BTS is not connected, the charger defaults to 25°C settings.

Smart power management

The DM1260 actively monitors its internal temperature and dynamically adjusts output power to prevent overheating. As the temperature rises, the charger will de-rate its output power to maintain safe operating conditions, ensuring long-term reliability and performance.
