Description

The RiiO II inverter charger is a versatile transformer-based inverter charger that seamlessly combines backup power, off-grid functionality, and energy storage system (ESS) capabilities. Designed to support high surge loads, it features an ultra-fast 4ms transfer time to ensure uninterrupted power during outages. This innovative inverter charger supports up to nine parallel units (three per phase) for expanded power capacity, making it an excellent choice for a wide range of applications.

Key Functions:

1. High surge power handling: The RiiO II can efficiently manage heavy loads, with the capacity to deliver exceptional surge power when needed. With a swift 4ms transfer time, it quickly switches to battery power during outages, ensuring your critical appliances remain operational.

2. Parallel and three-phase capability: The RiiO II can be configured in parallel with up to 3 units in singles phase applications, or up to 9 units in three-phase applications, achieving a maximum output of 9KVA. 3. ESS and grid-tie capabilities: The RiiO II inverter seamlessly integrates with the E4 LCD Monitor and IC-METER, unlocking advanced Energy Storage System (ESS) and grid-tie functionalities. This allows for maximising self-consumption which helps lower electricity bills through advanced peak shaving and time-of-use management. Additionally, it enables grid feed-in for utility credits, providing economic advantages for users.

4. 16A transfer switch: The AC transfer switch inside the RiiO-II is rated up to 16A, allowing for up to 3.68kW of power to be passed through to the loads from the AC input when the inverter is in bypass.

• AGS functionality: The Automatic Generator Start (AGS) function ensures that your generator operates only when necessary, offering convenience and efficiency.
• Power assist and control for generators: Power assist enables a small generator to handle heavy loads by supplementing its capacity when needed. Power control ensures the generator operates at its optimal consumption level, maintaining a consistent output to significantly reduce fuel consumption.
• ECO mode: Designed to prolong backup time, this mode reduces self-consumption, maximising the inverter’s efficiency.
• Remote monitoring: Users can easily monitor performance through the Nova Web and mobile app via the TBB-KIN2 Kinergy-II Wi-Fi module, this allows for control and adjustments from anywhere.
• Easy operation and maintenance: The RiiO II automatically restarts when AC power is restored, and features a user-friendly interface for easy operation.
• Enhanced reliability: With a maximum inverter efficiency of 89%, the RiiO II delivers reliable performance while ensuring minimal energy loss during operation.
